Heritage Flooring, Inc., a family owned and operated business, has been providing flooring sales, services and installations for the commercial and hospitality industry of Southeast Louisiana and the Gulf Coast since its establishment in 1999. We tend to the flooring needs of contractors, architects and designers, business and property managers and end-users. President, Frank Mistretta III, started working in the flooring trade in 1982 as a helper without any flooring background or experience. His everyday goal was to increase his knowledge of the flooring trade, and yield a higher production for his employer. Through hard work and dedication, in less than 12 months, Frank Mistretta III had already purchased his own work vehicle and all the necessary tools and was hired to manage projects as a mechanic installer. Frank knew that if he was going to be successful in this trade, he was going to have to provide customer satisfaction that surpassed all expectations. From one successful installation to the next, Frank’s opportunities and work load increased, as did his installation team. His crew began to consist of 20+ personnel and he was capable of handling some very large projects, including; high-rise buildings, hotels, casinos, schools and hospitals. With a large installation team, he was able to train and pass on his knowledge to his most ambitious men. This allowed him to redirect his time to more of a managerial position and he started managing multiple projects at once. With his new business plan successfully taking off, Heritage Flooring was established. Still, after 30 years of being in the flooring trade, Frank knows that future growth can only come by putting the customer first and paying attention to each detail.
